How to Create a Govah Account

For Riders

1. Download the Govah Rider app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Tap Sign Up on the welcome screen.
3. Enter your full name, mobile number, and email address.
4. Create a secure password (at least 8 characters).
5. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
6. That's it — you're ready to book your first trip!

For Drivers

1. Download the Govah Driver app.
2. Tap Become a Driver and fill in your personal details.
3. Upload the required documents:
   • Valid driver's licence
   • Vehicle registration papers
   • Proof of insurance
   • A clear profile photo
4. Your application will be reviewed within 1–3 business days.
5. Once approved, you'll receive a confirmation and can go online immediately.

Trouble signing up?

• Make sure your mobile number is South African (+27).
• Check your spam folder if you didn't receive the verification email.
