How to Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to permanently delete your Govah account:

Before you delete

• Any remaining wallet balance will be forfeited. Consider using it on a trip first.
• Your Step Coin balance and trip history will be permanently deleted.
• This action cannot be undone.

Steps to delete

1. Go to Profile → Settings → Account.
2. Tap Delete My Account.
3. Confirm your identity (enter your password or OTP).
4. Tap Permanently Delete to confirm.

Your account will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days. If you change your mind, you can log back in within 30 days to cancel the deletion.

Data deletion

In line with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act), all your personal data is deleted from our systems within 30 days of your request. Anonymised trip data may be retained for analytics.

Prefer to take a break?

Instead of deleting, you can deactivate your account temporarily. Contact [email protected] to pause your account.
